One of the reasons I like to restage ghostly claims (especially those that are visual) is to show how comical some of them can be.

Take for instance, this ghostly recreation photo at the Julian Gold Rush Hotel in Julian, CA. The first version of this ghost story appearing in print mentions circles of light dancing around in the upstairs windows. Then a few years later, another paranormal author decided to more or less copy what she read in the first book, only she changed the story to read how "balls of fire" would shoot along the hallway.

It's painfully obvious that the latter paranormal author never visited the hotel nor understood its history.

Still...we had our fun creating this photo.
