This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

Artist's Description
The Desert Cottontail (Sylvilagus audubonii), also called Audubonâs Cottontail, is a member of the family Leporidae. This species typically forages in the morning and in the early evening. It spends much of the day in its burrow to stay cool and to avoid predators; many desert animals are predators of the Desert Cottontail. It is found in the western United States and in Mexico. Threats to the survival of Desert Cottontail include animal predators, loss of habitat to land development, and legal game hunting in the United States; the Desert Cottontail is described by the IUCN Red List as of âleast concernâ.
